The CO2 Systems Specialists

🇷🇴Raul Albulescu🇷🇴

Next to join our CO2 Artist Family is Raul who is based in a small village called Siria, Arad in Romania.

Raul began his aquarium hobby as a child. In the beginning keeping and breeding many different species of tropical fish. Through the years Raul slowly began to use live plants and eventually discovering the world of aquascaping.

Slowly introducing live plants to his aquariums it wasn't long before his focus turned on aquascaping. For the last four years, Raul has been fully committed to aquascaping and has been busy developing his skills ever since. Aquascaping is now a very big part of life for Raul and his family.

We believe support is a vital part of our community and being able to support Raul in taking a step towards international contest entry is an honour.

Welcome to the team!

Limnophila sessiliflora "Ambulia"

Difficulty: An easy plant to care for. No real demands and ideal for a beginner.

Tank Position: Best placed at the rear of the aquarium. These lovely plants can reach heights of 45cm+

Lighting: Can grow very well in a low light aquarium. That being said, providing higher light levels can produce a very attracting red hue to the top of the plant.

Temperature: A temperature range of 23-28℃ is a safe range for this plant. It is worth noting that this plant does best in the higher end of this range.

CO2 Requirements: While this plant grows well without additional CO2 being added, to get the absolute best colour and health from your plant, CO2 is advised.

Feeding: The addition of micronutrients will help gain the red colouring at the top of the plant and promote a solid growth rate.

Note: If adding CO2, pay attention to the growth rate. If your plant is growing too quick, it may result in longer spaces between the leaves. If this happens, simply reduce the level of CO2 being injected.

We have been working on our plans to launch our very own aquascaping community and we are almost ready to launch our new website so we decided to share some more information to let you all know why we are so excited.

The new CO2 Artists community will offer members a place to connect with many other like minded aquascapers. Its a place to show past and present projects, share advice and ideas with aquascapers from across the world. We want our CO2 Artists community to feel special which is why we have included features such as a gallery of different styled aquascaspes, shop directory and even an events calendar so members can find and attend local workshops to further improve their skills.

Our members will have several benefits including special discounts, early access to our new products and much more.

Why not visit our social media pages and check out some of the existing co2 artist galleries already being shared.
