The CO2 Systems Specialists

🇲🇺Naresh Singh Runglall🇲🇺

This week we welcomed Mauritius and their aquascaper Naresh Sing Runglall who joined our CO2 Artist team. Naresh has been aquascaping from the age of 12 when he first found influence from the late Takashi Amano. When Naresh started aquascaping there were very little resources available to him. He developed his love for the planted tank with lots of research coupled with his fair share of trial and error. His inspiration has come mostly from Amano and you can see this shining through in all his aquascapes. A favourite style for Naresh is the nature style aquarium. Recently Naresh has been working on mountain style and terrariums aquascapes thanks to Adam Paszczela and Yusuke Homma. Professionally Naresh is an interior designer and what better way to bring his work and private life together than the creation of his very own aquascaping business called Otanika Nature Aquarium. Currently Selling all kinds of aquascaping equipment and materials with plans of its very own aquascaping studio to hold workshops  - a first in Mauritius. Naresh is a true aquascaping pioneer in his country and its an honour to have him part of our team.

Welcome to the team!

Anubias Nana

Difficulty: Easy - like most Anubias, this requires little care. as long as the ~Rhizome is not buried in the substrate this plant will grow with ease.

Tank Position: Best attached to rock or wood close to the front.

Lighting: Low lighting is required. Ideal for low tech aquariums.

Temperature: A temperature range of 23-28℃ is best.

CO2 Requirements: CO2 is not essential, however, the addition of co2 will always improve plant growth

Feeding: A good quality liquid fertilisers is advised.

Note: One of the smallest Anubias plants and perfect for nano aquascapes due to its small leaves.

️ Red alert ️

When the correct level of CO2, fertiliser and lights are perfectly aligned you get the best out of your plants. Our friend Haneef Usamath has shared with us some recent photos he took which demonstrates just what you get when you get it right. Always research the needs of your plants before using them to make sure you are able to meet their requirements and get the best results.

Have you signed up yet?

We have been working on our plans to launch our very own aquascaping community and we are almost ready to launch our new website so we decided to share some more information to let you all know why we are so excited.

The new CO2 Artists community will offer members a place to connect with many other like minded aquascapers. Its a place to show past and present projects, share advice and ideas with aquascapers from across the world. We want our CO2 Artists community to feel special which is why we have included features such as a gallery of different styled aquascaspes, shop directory and even an events calendar so members can find and attend local workshops to further improve their skills.

Our members will have several benefits including special discounts, early access to our new products and much more.

Why not visit our social media pages and check out some of the existing co2 artist galleries already being shared.

We are currently looking for beta testers so if you have not already registered to become a beta tester, you can do so by clicking on the learn more button at the top of the co2 artist facebook page.
